National Environmental Awards
for Tweed Homes
For the second year running Tweed Homes win a prize at the prestigious Homes For Scotland People Awards held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Friday 1 May, 2009.
This time the honours went personally to our Managing Director Andy Pearson.
The judging panel, chaired by Mary Mulligan MSP and member of the Scottish Parliament’s Local Government and Communities Committee, were unanimous in awarding Andy a commendation for his personal contribution to the environment and commented:
"Andy’s infectious passion has made a real impact on Tweed Homes’ developments in the Borders, typified by his programme of tree and shrub planting, which the panel believe should and will inspire other Scottish house builders."
Andy has taken his love of gardening onto all Tweed Homes sites and produced some stunningly landscaped developments.
